Opening in 2017, in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Mersedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) is home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’ Atlanta United. A world-class venue that has the capacity to accommodate more than 75,000 spectators and is renowned not only for its state-of-the-art technology and fan-friendly amenities, but also for hosting the largest events in the world, including Super Bowl LIII, the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in 2018, Major League Soccer’s All-Star Game in 2018 and numerous international soccer matches among other marquee events. Atlanta’s world-class venue will also host two 2024 CONMEBOL Copa America matches (including the prestigious opening match,) the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and eight matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, including a semi-final fixture.

One of the busiest stadiums in the world, the multi-purpose facility currently hosts more events each year than any other stadium in the U.S. and consistently ranks as one of the top stadiums in the world for fan experience. 

Opening as the most sustainable stadium ever constructed, the venue continuously demonstrates a commitment to sustainability by reducing its environmental impact through innovative solutions and community partnerships. Notably, MBS was the first professional sports stadium in North America to be recognized with a Platinum certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, setting a new standard for sustainable design and operations since its inception. In 2023, MBS was the first stadium worldwide to be TRUE Platinum Certified for Zero Waste with well over 95% of all waste from the stadium avoiding landfills.
